Pastors

Pastor Dan Woodward

As a native New Yorker, I have lived most of my life in the Rochester area. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior as a young boy and was baptized at the age of 9. Spiritual growth was gradual. Over the years I have served God as a chaplain, Sunday School teacher, deacon, and usher. Other service for God included jail ministry, youth ministry, visitation, evangelism, and pulpit supply preaching. I love God and people, and I love God’s Word the Bible and love teaching it. God has blessed me with opportunities to teach the scriptures since 1987, in various venues.

After a career in the security/public safety field for 35 ½ years, which included 31 years at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, I wanted to continue to serve God in ministry. My purpose in life is to glorify God, teach and preach the word of God, make disciples of Jesus Christ, and evangelize the lost. God led my wife and I to Bible Baptist Church of Williamson in 2023, and it has been a tremendous joy and honor to serve Him and serve God’s people as pastor at BBC.

My wife Sherri and I have been married for over 25 years, and we have three grown children. Hobbies and interests include daytrips, museums, history, biking, hiking, reading, hunting, and working outdoors. God has abundantly blessed me and I am very thankful for eternal life in Jesus Christ, as well as all the spiritual and earthly blessings given by God. There is nothing more important than knowing Jesus Christ and having eternal life. I pray that God is exalted, believers are edified, and unbelievers are evangelized through God’s work at BBC.

Giving thanks always…to God,

Daniel Woodward, Pastor
